CHANGING OF THE GUARD

Our AGM on October 6 2013 saw the retirement of two of our long serving memebers of the Committee. Gertrude Elias our Secretary and Janettee Giacobbe our Treasurer.

Gertrude to many has been the face of the gardens. She was our first contact when we joined and has worked tirelessly for many years both behind the scenes and at working bees making a significant contribution to the success of the gardens.

Janette we see each year stand up and deliver the Garden's Financial Statement in the very professional way that she has conducted all her work on the committee over many years. Behind the scenes she has managed the financial affairs impeccably and like Gertrude has made a signifcant contribution to the gardens we all enjoy.

While both ladies are stepping down from their positions they will still be active members of the garden. So if you see them around make sure you thank them for their wonderful service to the ECG.
